I got this one combo a month ago. So far one of my favorite zoo. I need to cheer myself up with some complement :D :D . After all the pest that is appearing in my tank, I am not feeling good..

They looked dull in the picture, but the middle one is very pink and the right one is very purple. I don't know the name of these, so if you know let me know.

I really dont know what they are.. as far as name goes, too bad no one could name all the zoo :D .. Are those eagle-eye? I'm not even sure.. I have to look up some nice big picture and compare.

Jonathan, lol.. I wish I had enough to share with everyone.. You be on the top, of course.

Do you guys think I should seperate them so they grow out seperately? Or let it be and have the combo grow all together?

Those look like what people call "Eagle Eyes" to me!

Top left picture is how they look in my tank. Ctx's picture looks different because we have different lighting and camera.

Shuan, that is just showing off.. :D I guess you right.. Those are eagle-eye, then. Now after see yours zoo, I have to say that those are really nice zoo. I really like the small patch of red zoanthid on the bottom right corner picture on the left side.. And the image on the top right. I like the glow on them..

So what lighting do you have on yours? I don't have any actinic T5 blub yet. I have the aquablue plus plus two 175MH. My XM kind of washout alot of color from the zoos.

4- 110 watt VHO actinic, 2- 250watt HQI DE AB 10K, 1- 250watt HQI DE AB20K. My lights are overkill for zoanthids, but the actinics really bring out the colors!!! Plus I can keep them on the sand bed away from my SPS.

I am finding that the eagle eyes like lots of light. The more you hit them with the blue spectrum the more they glow like my picture, i.e. bring out the blue between the green skirt and the orange center.

I would try and give them the most light you can if you want the most color out of them, unless you have a lighting system similar to mine, which in that case you can keep them anywhere.

I am glad that they are spreading around MR, just in case. At the frag swap I brought 4 colonies of them.

HTH,
.

Nice stuff you guys got there Shaun and ctx. I found a couple (about 5) eagle eyes in my tank and found 2 more on some rock rubble in my fuge.

Those red skirt blue center ones i had got from Shaun were my favorites. They opened up for a few days after the swap but then went into a decline and all vanished. =( . I'll get a pic of my eagle eyes later. =D
