Unable to remove tubing from barb (tlf) valve....help!

Hello,

I an trying to remove a 3/4" black vinyl tubing that I got from hd , from a barb valve.

Removed the clamp, heated the joint with a heat gun when turning the thing to distribute heat evenly.

Its still rigidly attached, as I pull away it isn't coming out.

What do I do? Thanks

razor blade, be careful , cut only 1 side

If you don't need to keep the piece of vinyl tubing or can deal with it being slightly shorter, just simply slice it down the middle with a utility knife.

Both good advises,it's usually way easier to cut it along the barbs than struggle with it.

if you can't get your hands on a razor blade or utility knife, boil a cup of water and submerge the hose barb for 30-45 seconds and it will glide off
