It's a Scooter Blenny Dragonette (Petroscirtes temmincki). Shot was taken with flash on, so
with certain fish the pigmentation may fluoresce & in this case it does.
Some more fluorescent type fish (these are not from my tank though)
Fast, you have some really nice pictures. I wish I could take pictures with that kind of clarity and color. Can't wait til my birthday...Guess whats on the wishlist *cough camera cough cough*
Some hot shot tips:
-Shots of objects/corals/fish closer to the front of the tank will ALWAYS come out more sharper. For fish, I try to get them as close as possible.
-no matter how hard you try you will never get a sharper picture as you do when using flash. Just need to expose it properly
-Try to place your lense flush with the tank wall. If this is not feasible, then shoot dead on. If you get flashback, then shoot at 5-15 degree angles.
Lets go for broke. These fish are not in my tank either, they are either from LFS or aquarium. The crab is a blue claw that I caught the past summer in rockaway. I fed him & then put him back a week after.
