Arggggggg reef keeper lite fail

Ok so I was away from my tank for 5 days and somehow the pc4 on my reef keeper lite went bad so there was no heat or light in my tank for who knows how many days. Everything looks like crap, my purple cespit which had been growing like a weed now looks dead. Im really very unhappy. I may never go away again.

That's awesome thanks but I may be ok. Overnight some stuff looks a little better. This tank has been thru some crazyness and somehow keeps coming back. I had no power for a week during the hurricane and lost nothing and now this happened and it seems like some stuff may come back. I think some of this stuff is a lot more resilient than what most people say.

And I don't want to scare anybody away from the reef keeper system, its a great product and I will continue to use it but sometimes even the best products fail. I've talked to tons of people who use these and to a few retailers and nobody has ever heard of a pc4 going bad. I called digital aquatics and they were really good about everything.

Just remember whatever can go wrong will go wrong when your not home.

My reef keeper lite fail on me many times already. For some reason the pc4 always gets corrupted and the head unit doesn't work anymore. So, none of the equipment will turn on. Swtich over to the aqua Jr and haven't had any issue yet.

I don't have the RKlite so I don't know if there is a difference here, but the "power controller" to my RK2 has failed. It blew a couple of fuse on me. The #8 outlet fried, so now my MH are plugged into #4. Number 3 which the PC were plugged into also went, so my PC are plugged into #6.
