pics coming out blue

i'm trying to get pics of my 40br but they come out very blue. the camera is a nikon coolpix4500 and the light is a 400w mh w/ a xm 20k. how can i get true color pics? please help

Set the white balance. Put a piece of white pvc in the tank and focus on it with the lights on to get a good setting.

i thought i would have to adjust the white balance but what button performs that function. anyone? i tried to look for that feature but no luck.
