from the pump??? could be the seal. i feel your pain. i had purchased a used mrc-1 and i had tried to run it and in the first 5 minutes i had a leak...then another and another...until i took it all completely apart and siliconed every fitting.

....it will be very hard to find a 3/8 threaded nylon nipple, but try calling a few plumbing supplies like Blackman etc...did you try teflon tape on the threads? The one draw back to a reactor is the amount of water pressure generated because of the volume of water going in from the pump with little coming out so everything has to be tight.

Yeah i tried calling blackman they were the only plumbing supply open on a sunday and they do not have it.i think now im going to need a new pump and the nipple.i tightened the crap out of it with a 12 in adjustable just now and it still leaking out..its a drip every 10 seconds.should have just bought a new setup.cost me 250 for the reactor 50 for the valve and now a hundred for a new pump.could have bought a new one

order the piece today.the guy at MTC said its impossible that the pump is leaking.what i did wrong was when the nipple goes into the pump the threads need to be siliconed then tightened.hopefully this is the problem.piece cost me 7 bucks plus 12 dollars for shipping
