My new Star

Well, I'm excited. I've been wanting a more "decorative" Star for a long time, but was reluctant to get one because they have such poor survival rate. But when a fellow reefer was selling off his tank, including a Star, I jumped on the chance. Here are a couple of pix from today. I acclimated her yesterday for 4 hrs, never exposed her to air. Any confirmation that this is a Linckia? :birthday:

Do you have another pic towards the top center. I saw white dots. Can you focus on that area. I'll relay the pic to my friend to ID this star

I'll try to catch her again tomorrow. She was out on the rocks this morning, but then disappeared into them. If she comes out again tomorrow I'll try to get a more straight-on shot. She was sitting at an odd angle today.

Look very Linckia-like, except for the coloration. Most reddish Linckias I've seen have lighter colored spots, not darker like yours.
