Live sand

I am replacing my 65g reefs tank,I put all my corals and fish in a 46 g I had in my basement live rock is in mt 55 sump,I have no where to put my live sand will it be ok in a plastic container with water heater and power heads for a couple of weeks,I have to do some construction work. Thanks

How long was that sand in the tank?

I would be worried about a couple weeks.....

6 years, I am not to worried about die off I just don't wanted it to become toxic

Then just rinse it in RO and store it. I would not want to run heaters and powerheads just for sand for 6 weeks..
