damnit, finally got my pvc plumbing setup so i fill the tank dont even turn on the mag 18 yet and i see water seeping from under the stand so im thinking **** my tank is leaking, i then look to the back and see water squirting out of the intake in the mag 18 now I know what the crack sound was when I was tightening it, ANYONE HAS the in/out cover for the mag 18???????

It is called impeller housing.. Call Aqua Hut out in Coram, they should have it but is a bit of a drive for you.

i cracked the impeller housing for my WP pump also.would the aqua hut have a replacement??does anyone know of any other places that might have it??i'll get on the phone in a bit to see if AES has them, it's where i got the pumps.

mag is out on the island. do a search on google for danner manufaturing mag pumps or something and youll get there homepage. Ive gon out there for warranty replacments before

Gosh, I know this feeling - last night, I was putting the finihsing touches on the 29g that jhale gave me and I driled it, plumbed it and put it in it's place - when I want to put the elbow that dropped the water into the tank, when twisting, CRACK! right down the whole side of the tank - runied.

Off to petco for a new one!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
