i just got this tang about 2 days ago i know its still early to be worrying about anything but was just wondering if you guys had any tips on getting him to eat algae off the clip. he only seems interested in picking at my rocks but my tanks isnt really mature yet so i am sure the algae on my rocks will eventually be gone. any tips to get him to eat off the clip? i have a piece attached to some rock right now but still really isn't showing much interest in it.

try to add some garlic to the algae. if you dont have the garlic extract just take a few pieces of garlic slice em put them in a lil rodi water and then soak the algae in it. you can also add that algae to your rock since thats where he is eating from :)

Try garlic as tony said and add some veta-chem mix them at once but remember for the veta its one drop per every 40G once a week. I used this when my wild true percula wasn't eating and with in 2-3 days later she started to eat everything I fed in to the tank pellets flakes and brine shrimp.

the algae sheets already have garlic extract in them. do you think i should just add some to the rocks every day untill she realizes its food. also how long can i keep it in the tank before it rots.

Once he knows what to look for, he will find the clip.
