Is this any good. My calcium is down to 360. Thought kalk was holding my tank up nucely but i guess i need to up the kalk for maintaining calcium but would like to get back up to normal levels first.

Does liquid calcium raise ph?

No but its always good to add anything in moderation, so add the recmmended dosage till u get it back to your desired number and then daily check it till you figure out what your displacement of calcium is and you will be able to balance it easier and make your dosing quick and easy.

Tagging along in this thread.

The calcium in my fluval edge stays around 380 and the dKH around 10. I am using the Kent Maring Part A and B. I was dosing every other day, then tried every day but my dkH increased a lot while calcium stayed around 380-400.

I have not tested for mangesium yet. I was planning to buy the Kent Maring liquid Calcium but was also concerned about PH and any other side effects.

Did absolutely nothing to my ph. But raised calcium from 340 to 360.

But ive only used it once.

Once i get it to 420-440 im gonna just use kalk. No more calcium. I was dosing with too little kalk all along. Didnt know people were putting a teaspoon per gallon. Jeez. That wont even dissolve.
