Need a new 400W ballast

One of my 400W blueline ballast died. It is 5 years old. I don't particularly like this ballast because it interfers with my aquaJr controller too much. So what do you guys suggest? Thinking of getting the PFO HQI but don't quite know the difference from the PFO. Or should I stick with the electronic ballast like icecap?

I'd get the electronic ballast.

i have the IceCap ones and am happy with them.

I would stay with electronic ones, because you have more choices. You can use double ended, or single mogul ones. You also save some money on your electric bills; that is always a plus

FWIW, mine are plugged into DC4HDs and i have not noticed much interference with the ACjr. when they fire up the pH and Temp values get disrupted for a few seconds, but thats it.

DC4 and DC8 are not true x10 technology.

I use multiple PFO HQI ballast and never had a problem of it interfering with x10 signals.

So, I went ahead and ordered the PFO HQI 400W dual ballasts y'day. Now, I am thinking about getting some new bulbs. Coralvue reeflux 10K and the 20k. What do you guys think?
