Hey dude,

As with everything you should take precautions. Dont stick your hand in the tank too often especially not when you have a cut or other open wound.

Wash hands well after every contact. Its basically quite simple.

If you still feel uncertain I will gladly accept your reef in my house

But are they talking about fresh water or saltwater fish? or both?
Oh by the way I am Javier, Jorge's brother. I only have a 90 gallon fish tank and it is nothing compared to my brother's fish tank.

I've looked all morning and still can't find what I did with the laundry style "care tag", that I removed from my Percs. Guess that's why the tag read "do not remove under penalty of law"

You just need to be little careful everytime you put your hand in your tank. You can't worry about everything. Let's say you are so worry about the tank and you sell it. How can you walk down the street, I think hundred of people died on the street everyday. How can you walk down the stair, I believe 3 ot 4 people died everyday by falling on the stair. How can you eat meat, mad cow. How can you eat chicken, bird flu.

I think tank is relatively safer than what is around you daily in your life.
