i bought some snails nassarius are these reef safe or i made a mistake.

There are two types of Nassarius Snails available in the hobby. One is the Nassarius Vibex (white in color, good type) and the other is the Nassarius Obsoletus (black in color, bad type).

FYI, Nassarius Vibex IMO are the best sand sifting critters in our tanks. Great pickup if you got the vibex.

Vibex are awesome. Truth. I like the bigger white variations (Pacific) instead of the ones we have in FL and stuff.
