aquarium safe silicone

i know i can buy the expensive stuff at a fish store but i am not really looking to do that. is their any special brand i can buy from home depot or something that will be safe silicone for an aquarium?

i use ge silicone 1, do not use ge 2, it has some mold inhibitors in it.

Loctite has an aquarium safe silicone that you can purchase in Target.

Just remember GE I is a silicone sealant NOT adhesive, for baffles/internal overflow it's OK but to re-seal a tank is a huge gamble to save $10.

Should be OK, just remember to read the label; anything that says mold & mildew inhibitor/control will kill the tank.

There is aquarium safe silicon that actually states that on the tube. It's a toothpaste type of tube but def safer than guessing.
You can buy it at lowes or home depot.
