Water Pump In 58 gallon

i been thinking to change my plumbing in my 58 gallon tank. right now i i am using mag 9 for my return pump. i been thinking to change the pump to Gen-X 6000 that will run around 1500 gph. since i have a build in overflow from oceanic, i would like to make that 2 holes from the overflow that will run to the sump. as a return line i would liket o put SCWD. so what do u guys think?
is this ideas will overfill the tank?

a SCWD is only rated at 500 gph's, so, unless you "T" it off and have teo of them, I don't think that is a great idea.

House, the scwd can handle more GPH than that. Here's a blurb from their website:

"Tested & approved for use with pump applications not to exceed 1400 GPH and a maximum of 5 psi with a minimum rating of no less than 50 GPH."

Figuring some headloss, he should be ok without a "T".

sounds good. I've got a mag 7 with a sqwd on my 20 gallon. I figure I"m getting 500gph or so.

I've never used the 1600 though.
