What lives in your sump......

What is best to keep in you sump. As for now I only have macro Alg & pods, Was thinking of adding a few inverts, but were not sure what to put in?

snails, hermit crab, shrimp, and a tomato clown in my sump... along side chaeto caluerpa and rocks

Antenae goby with a Randall's pistol shrimp and a clown goby.

I have a 30 gallon fuge with dsb, live rock,1shrimp, clown, snails, hermit crabs, emerald crab.

Is it ok to keep snails in there cant they damage the pumps?
