montipora coexistence

hi MR,
can different montis live on the same LR? i have the sunset & red already up next to each other. just noticed two different "dots" appear on the same rock. based upon polyp color, looks like an undata & rainbow. any suggestions as to how can i save them? thx!

Sunset is by far the more aggressive. Take it out now, use a chisel to cut rock in two parts. I lost a good chunk of seasons greeting and undata to it

They can but they will fight. I have five different montis in close proximity, two capricornis species, sunset monti, rainbow monti and pokerstar monti. So far pokerstar seems to win the war, it overgrow my purple cap, which is fine cause the cap is making it's great escape by growing outwards

cool - would my montis grow vertically back to back & be nice nice to each other? what about the two baby montis below it? let nature take it course? :headache: thx!
