Looking to get a powerhead for a 28 gallon nano anybody run tunze not looking to get a vortech what do you have?

You need an MP60, lol. Tunze 6025 or 6045 should work.

For non controllable I would add the koralia nano, I got one in the 24g and it's a good little powerhead.

If you can make for the money, mp10 is a good choice. I have two modded 6025s that push a good amount of flow to cover my 80. I definitely need to upgrade but so far it's done it's job. My sandbed was clean prior to taking my GFO online due to Vodka dosing. It is clearing up as my vodka regimen increases.

modded 6025s push ~1200gph.

**It did however cause sand storms in my old marineland 45 cube 24x24 so I would take note that it may need adjusting because of this.

A few other pros - very quiet, no clicks like koralia, not as bulky as the koralia, and 7watts of power.

so far sps are happy and show a lot of growth. I previously had trouble with garf bonsai and now it has encrusted and hoping it starts to move upwards soon! Obviously not all due to water movement but as per motortrendz, the monster pink milli I got from him LOVES very high flow so it is set to about ~7" in front of the tunze and great polyp extension seems happy!

I have koralia 3 in my 24g and its really too much, my clowns can barely swim in the current LOL. Plus its kind of big inside that size tank, the nano koralias are perfect. I'm pretty sure he already has a MP10 in this tank unless he removed it...

you know just as well as everyone else, if you spend the money now(MP10) then you won't be spending it later(anything else).

it can be done, standard 6025s can be run at about 15 min intervals, any less and you will wear out the pumps. There is a mod for them though by inserting a stopper:

+1.....the koralia nanos are the way to go....i had 3 of the 240gph in my nano, but it was mostly sps
