I run 4 T5s on my 55 gal. I have 3 digitatas on the bottom of the tank and they are growing quickly. On the other side of the tank, also on the bottom are my zoas. They are not happy. The skirts are not open as far as they were when I had them under VHO. Are they adjusting to the new wavelength / par?

Under 220 Watts of VHO I had them middle to top, under 208 Watts of T5 I have them on the bottom. What gives? I have some zoas higher up and they're really not happy. I assumed it was too much light, but I've had these up for two weeks now. If I was burning them they should have adjusted by now no?

Do the T5's have individual reflectors?

The T5 bulbs are smaller bulbs but the individual reflectors can concentrate the light better. So the zoas might be getting more par than before with the VHOs. The spectrum of the bulbs is also probably different so the zoas might be getting different wavelengths now. And lastly the T5's might just be more efficient than VHO but I'm not sure.
