Heater

Picking up a used RSM130d, going to need a heater for it.
Are the Fluval E heaters any good?

or should I stick with Jager?
I don't have a controller so want to make sure I get something that won't fail on and cook my tank.

There is no guarantee on any heater - even the better brands - that they will not fail.
A controller is the ONLY safe way to add a heater to a tank.

The Jagers & Fluval heaters are both well made heaters.

Nope, those are the best ones out there. I would lean more toward the Jager.

What about aqueon heaters? I've had one on my 55 gallon SPS for almost 3 years, never failed.
