any body have any suggestions on getting rid of Xenia?
I've cut it down and it comes back in a vengence.:fight2:

I help you scrape all of them off into my tank HAHAHA

I found they move along with the direcion of flow. Can you direct the flow so that they eventually climb to the glass and scape them off. Scrapping them off the glass leaves no left-behinds.

I think they're like weed, you really can't stop them from growing. Unless...anybody know if they grow on sand? To isolate the rock they're on in sand....

The best way is probadly to use twissors and make sure you pull the whole piece of the rock work. Good Luck!

If you dose calcium, you can use a syringe and apply it directly at them. You have to keep an eye on them and it is difficult to do without overdosing near by desirable corals.

I tried that but some always find there way to your most prized coral. Reefering is like pruning your garden, it is just one of the husbandry things you have to do

Well I took out as much of it as possible scrubbed off the residue I'll do a water change tomorrow
