I have a 55 gal.
Would it be OK to use one of those "hang on" type.....or are they to small?
My stand doesn't have too much room in the bottom, so I'm considering one if they can serve it's function.

Thanks in advance!

Dean:
An Aqua C as a fuge?
I have one as my skimmer now.
Never thought of converting a skimmer in to a fuge.

BTW...I'm giving you a call tomorrow. ;)

As a skimmer....they're really good.
It pulled out alot for me.
Twice a week, I would have to empty the cup.

With the Aqua C, the skim is thicker & darker.
It's also much more quiet than the CPR.
The cup only fills up once a week though.

Just trying to find out if those hang on fuges would be a good enough size for my 55.....

Dean had me gassed & I was ready to turn my CPR into a fuge. :D

Well, CPR makes a 36" Aquafuge which would hang nicely on the back of your 48" tank. If you can't buy one locally or get it made, eBay has actual CPRs as well as knockoffs for less than $100.00.
