One Gallon. Get one of those 18w 50/50 PC Coralife Fixtures. Get a small HOB filter and you're good. Throw in some Poly-filter and some carbon. Stock it with softies and zoa's. Get black sand. That's what I was planning to do. Good luck and don't go nuts this time, pick your corals wisely and dont rush it. Take it slow bro...Patience. Anything smaller than one gallon is just damn silly.

personally i think that tank looks cheesy lol. The light looks like a kids night light. Look for the small Corallife 18w PC I told you about. It's dimension fits nicely over a 1gallon pico. A lot of people were using that system set-up for the nano-reef.com stock pico competition.

Go to Petco. I don't think its listed onthe official website but there is a 1 gallon glass betta tank they sell. The front is curved glass, pretty nice for around 10 bucks. Make sure its the glass not the cheap plastic. Last time I checked, which was 4 or 5 months ago, the Petco on 14th Union Square in Manhattan had it. It's usually in the section where they have all the Betta/Fighting Siamese stacked. Welcome Back btw...lol

i just looked online, I'm sorry I said 8 gallon, I could not find one.

I like the 12 gallon nano cube though :) it was 120.00 at the dr.s site.

I think keeping a tank as small as a gallon would be harder than a 12 or 6 gallon tank.

That seems to be the rumor but honestly, I find it so much easier keeping my 6.6g then my 12g Nanocube. Corals are a lot hardier than people give them credit for...especially the softies and LPS. I've had some craaaaazy parameter/temperature swings in my tank but the corals are pretty bad@ss hardy and healthy. I guess the balancing aspect is the water change, I can swap out 3 gallons and call it a 50% water change, removing half of the waste/excess nutrients. I think that's a big advantage.

1 gallon seems a bit extreme to me!! :bigeyes2: I'd say think about something in the 10g range. Or even those All Glass 5.5 tanks they have at Petland. (Actually I have one I was going to use as a QT, but haven't bothered in a while; I can sell it to you for a few bucks.) And I can give you some shrooms to start with. You can get a shrimp in there; perhaps a Pistol/Goby pair. Or just a regular cleaner with some small goby/blenny, or Firefish, etc. :flower:
