Anybody know of any LFS in town that are selling fighting conces? My hermits and snails aren't doing a fabulous job. How many conches does one need for a 72g tank?

Depends on which one:

Queen Conch :
Aquacultured in Florida, these Conchs make great additions to any tank. They eat algae that grows on live rock and aquarium glass. Queen Conchs are similar in behavior to that of Turbo Snails, but will also eat detritus from live sand beds. At this size recommends 1 Queen Conch per every 20 gallons.

Fighting Conch:
The Florida Fighting Conch makes a great addition to larger tanks. They eat brown diatoms (algae) that grow on live sand beds. Fighting Conchs will bury themselves in the sand bed and clean the upper layers. These Jumbo Conchs should not be placed in an aquarium less than 100 gallons.
