Blueface Angelfish

i purchased a blueface angelfish yesterday and i was feeding the tank this morning and realized that there's a rubber band coming out of his but. i saw it last night but just thought he was using the bathroom but because it was dark i couldn't see. how should i go about taking out the band?

Had this happen to a pacu (freshwater fish). It ate a rubber band and we had to manually pull it out of its butt. Fish survived, but we had to do it or else it would have died.

all right got it out just caught him and pulled it out slowly and hes fine now thanks for the help
