Have you considered the brs pukani dry rock? It is very light. 40 or 50 pounds would be plenty for a 57 gallon tank. I used about 80# in my 120 and could have used less. The only knock on it is that some people have found it to be dirty so it need some cleaning. Others have also found it to leach phosphate but in my experience it was manageable with gfo.

i will +1 reefrocks.net and with the amount your ordering it will be free shipping. rock is great and porous and very light so you get a ton of it for your money. i would get a 100lbs so you can try diff. rocks and have a nice aquascape but its up to you. you would prob. use maybe 75lb max but then you could use the rest for your sump ;).... whatever you have left over you can sell on here or trade for corals one day...

i purchased 75 pounds for my 50 gallon tank and its wayyyyyyy too much. 57gallons is about 5" higher than mine but same footprint. i think 50 pounds would be enough and you would have enough to place in your sump. and you have to get live rock to seed it later on.
