Acropora Palmata is VERY hard to get a hold of in the trade. I had a few beautiful pieces, unfortunately they died in the first blackout.

The last time I went diving in Puerto Rico I was thoroughly depressed. Every single colony of Acropora was dying from some kind of tissue necrosis... There was not a single healthy coral in over a mile of reef I dove... This was about 6 years ago, I can only imagine it is worse now.

Ehh... I believe that the crown of thorns starfish is only in the pacific. The atlantic/carribean corals are suffering from bleaching due to pollution, global warming, and all those other things. Hmm... always thought that they were already on the list. I personally do have a medium-sized piece of staghorn (cervi-something i think) but its not that nice of a piece really... nothing like some of the ones i've see nin the wild.
