Purple Lobster Tankmates

I bought a purple lobster from the lfs about a month ago and when I asked about other invertibrates, he said that it is peaceful and should be housed with other peaceful invertibrates. I have am currently battling HA and cyano and I want to order hermits and snails to do the clean up for me but I have had some rather nasty hermits in the past such as zebras. The tank is a 55 gallon Berlin System so I want to remain as pure as possible. That's why I'd rather go with the animals than the chemicals. Any advice on which crabs would best be kept with my lobster would be great.

i got one...your lobster will not care what you add, i consider my lobster part of my CUC...

how about lobster and shrimp? what do the lobster usually prey on?

its a scavenger, i have sets of cleaners, bloods, and peppermints. I would try to spot feed him but he is hidden in the rocks...i put mine in knowing i'll never see it again, but i do know where HIS spot is in the back of tank. Surprised my eel hasn't had a lobster dinner yet...

I purchased about a dozen snails and two dozen hermits. He gets pretty nasty if they get too close to his cave.
