156w t5 fixture over a 15g

i have a t5 fixture that i originally bought for my 40br. that was before i met MH. this fixture has a total of 156w output. i only use 2 actinic(hardly ever turn on the 2 10k). i notice my rbtas tends to hide almost completely under the rocks. is this too much light? the fixture is sitting on the legs, should i elevate it more?

That actinic-only setup may be confusing the anemones into "thinking" it's evening/night time.

Switch the bulbs so at least 1 daylight bulb is on...like many power compact set-ups.

got you. i just like the blue look a lot better. the 10k is so yellow. yuck. i thought about switching so that i have one and one thanks deanos.

is it a lot of light for a 15g?

From my calcuations, the bulbs are 36" long which would be correct considering it was for a breeder tank, 4x39W T5, but only 2x39W is being used (does it have individual reflectors?) and a standard 15 gallon tank is 24" long. Does the light fixture hang 6" over each side of the tank?
