Hey guys, I was just wondering, instead of buying fish food supplement such as Selcon and whatever else, can human vitamins be used in any sort of way to substitute commercially available drops? Does anyone use anything effectively that they can share.
I wouldnt do that. One of the things that Selcon has is HUFAs which are important for fish. Your run of the mill multi vitamin will have iron and other minerals that might not be good for fish, or might be present at levels not safe for your fish. Selcon lasts a long time and is fairly inexpensive to most other supplies in this hobby. If you want to get away from vitamin drops, use more prepared foods that are nutritionally balanced.
