I have live sand, and something keeps growing in it maybe a day or two after I've done a water change. It keeps coming back. I'm concerned that it's something unhealthy in my tank so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes they are worms . You do have something that might need addressing. See the white crust outside the tank a little on top is normal. But you see a lot. At bottom where I see yours. . That could be your water parameter is off. Check your Magnesium.Precipitates is form Alk and Calcium thats in salt and Magnesium.

That maybe salt creep on the outside of his tank. Sometimes when I do a water change, some NSW will spill a bit and drip down the side until it gets to to the bottom rim. If I don't wipe it up right away, it will evaporate and what I have left looks like the pic above.
