What's growing in my sand?!?

I have live sand, and something keeps growing in it maybe a day or two after I've done a water change. It keeps coming back. I'm concerned that it's something unhealthy in my tank so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes they are worms . You do have something that might need addressing. See the white crust outside the tank a little on top is normal. But you see a lot. At bottom where I see yours. . That could be your water parameter is off. Check your Magnesium.Precipitates is form Alk and Calcium thats in salt and Magnesium.

Oh wow. Thank you!!! I guess I should stop trying to vacuum them out of the tank!

I'll have to order a test for the magnesium. Right now I check pH, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and alk

That maybe salt creep on the outside of his tank. Sometimes when I do a water change, some NSW will spill a bit and drip down the side until it gets to to the bottom rim. If I don't wipe it up right away, it will evaporate and what I have left looks like the pic above.
