I turned off my mp40 for few min....and turned it back on.

Now it didn't work but lights keep blinking red , green....repeatedly.

What's wrong ,? Is wet side stuck since I see minor algae in it....its not that much algae though.

Or is it something else ? Thanks

Stall Condition
In the event of a motor stall, the pump may have stopped for a few possible reasons. You should first check that there is not something blocking the propeller from spinning. Next, check to make sure the magnets are not rubbing on either the pin spacer or the frame cover.

+1 on what Jay said.... It happened to my first mp40 and the guys at ecotech told me to try the exact same thing..... Sadly it didn't work but they did replace it for free.... Good luck

I tried cleaning with vinegar...didn't work.
Motor vrrrrs for exactly 3 times...then lights go red , green repeatedly.

Removed wet cover by twisting , tried gently pulling impeller...didn't come.rotated it moves freely.

How do I remove the impeller to make sure things are correct ?

At the same time I'm gonna email ecotech.....thx

I think it has a screw under the rubber at the back of the wet side, that's how you remove the impeller..... If checking that don't solve your problem, you can try running the pump without the wet side and if it still flashes red and green then you have an issue with the unit.... If it don't flash red and green then it's the wet side and you may have to replace it.....

Try testing the dry side like bike boss said.

On the wetside, if you hold the back of the magnet and try to spin the prop, it should turn while the shaft and magnet don't. It's a built in slip.
If something gets caught in the wet side, and runs long enough, it can melt the prop on the shaft. This is what caused a stall code on mine.

Hi all...
I removed wetside and dryside spins alone. I did a full reset successfully but when wetside connected ...same issue.

Wet side prop spins freely along with shaft and magnet. When I hold magnet prop spins but very tight. I opened up Wetside as per above vid.... this is what I see.

I can't remove the main metal shaft or screw from magnet is this normal? Here is pic. Is there supposed to be a screw on magnet side? Thanks. ..:D

The shaft should be plastic. No nut. In your second pic, it looks like the Phillips head is stripped out.

Parts of the W.S. are sitting in 50% vinegar, all but wetside magnet . Can the magnet sit in vinegar too as its exposed?

As per your pic my philips head is worn out , what made this happen u think?
BTW, u think the fact that the prop was tight to turn when i was holding the magnet means thats what caused the stall or made phillips head to get worn out?

thx!
