DECIDING IT'S NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION, DECLINING NOT TO DEAL AND EXPLAINING THAT TO AN INDIVIDUAL IS NOT BEING RUDE

DECIDING NOT TO DRIVE 60 MILES, WASTE GAS AND TOLLS KNOWING THAT AFTER SEVERAL TEXTS AND PHONE CONVERSATIONS THE INDIVIDUAL STILL DOESN'T ACCEPT THAT THE PRICE IS FIRM AND NOT NEGOTIABLE IS SENSIBLE NOT RUDE

DECIDING YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH AN INDIVIDUAL BECAUSE HE QUESTIONS YOUR INTEGRITY AND WARNING FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS TO AVOID THE HASSLE IS NOT RUDE.

I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER HERE SINCE 05, LOTS OF GOOD PEOPLE HERE AND LOTS OF PEOPLE WELL... EVEN WHEN YOU OFFER FREE FRAGS THEY STILL FEEL THAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO FREE DELIVERY :Yikes: AND WHEN YOU DONT YOUR A D**K.

AND YOU HAVE TO LOVE SOME OF THE MODS HERE... THREADS CAN GO ON FOR DAYS WITH PEOPLE BASHING COPS,THREADS ABOUT POLITICAL BELIEFS, PEOPLE CAN HAVE POLITICAL BASED AVATARS FOR YEARS AS LONG AS MODS AGREE WITH IT, ONCE YOU POST OPPOSITION THE OUTRAGE BEGINS.

if you knew me you would understand, I am a lot more tolerant than I appear here on MR. I live and die with respect, as a rule I treat people the way I want to be treated. if you want me to respect you, your ideals you have show me the same.pretty simple concept

I know what you mean about the for sale posts, absolutely... That's why I say "people who PM me with lowball offers will be posted on this thread." It's been two weeks and I have not received one lowball PM.

People are just like that, especially in the NYC Metro/Long Island area. ...I work in Human Resources and even when people are APPLYING for a JOB they can be extremely rude. It happens all the time. :lol2:

This area is known all over the country for its "NY attitude"... Just the way it is.

Totally understood bro , I completely agree as I have been involved in a gyp- and - run myself last week when I was selling my two clams for $120 and after stating that the price was firm as a brick to the face , the guy pms me and tells me that he will pick them up that day and give me $80 cash!!!! As if to say , let me lock in the sale and then treat him as though he was a crackhead !!!!!! And that almost cost me the actual individual that quickly did purchase them and was nice enough to understand that he was next in line!!!
This is by far one of the most expensive hobbies in the world, but how did it get consumed by cheap people???????

Make no mistake about it!!! If someone comes to my house in agreement to complete the agreed upon transaction and then turns to me and asks me if that's the best I can do !!!!! That person is in grave danger!!!!!!

I'm sure if enough people complain about the political posts, avatars, signatures, whatever, then the mods will handle it.

As for me, I don't really pay attention to political/related threads, posts, avatars, etc on fish forums. To me, these forums are a great place to relax, learn about this crazy addiction, and meet cool people. None of that goes along with discussing politics. :lol2:

I love when someone will put up a for sale thread and say something like "I have two MP60's for sale. They're brand new in box and I'm looking for $500". Every time this happens, someone will say "is that $500 for both? If so ill take them."

IMO...it is hard to read EVERY thread ... personally I read as many current posts as possible, but I will miss some that are posted before I go online.

If ANYONE has a problem with a post/thread PLEASE report it, that brings it to our attention, and if the 1st available mod is unsure about it, it will be referred to the rest of us, for discussion.
For example, I'm unsure if this thread should be deleted... so I'll wait for advice...I do know that reposting it, once deleted, would not be the right way to express your dissatisfaction!

People who do this should be posted publicly. Taking advantage of someone's generosity and cheap prices, only to repost for more money is definitely d-bag territory. I'd rather not deal with someone like that, and sometimes you have to post it or give them negative feedback for that to happen. Problem with the negative feedback is there will always be those who retaliate. Even if they're 100% in the wrong, they'll slap you with a negative feedback score.

We should have a lowballers section that can be looked at before doing business with a person!!!! I try my best to give things to someone that can use it before I would sell it!!! And if I didn't pay for it, you wouldn't pay for it , this is my moddo "if I don't pay , you don't pay"
