Silicone removal in a tight spot

So I setup my 125gallon that a got used from a friend set everything up connect everything when I put water in I have a leak on the left side drain bulk head I go I tighten it nothing still leaks when I removed to further investigate I find out that the moron that set this tank up for done reason put silicon to seal the old bulk head so when I put the new bulkhead in its not sealing cause there is tons of silicone on the glass now how am I suppose to scrape that off it's in the overflow area my arms not even that long lol but I need to get it it our so I can scrape of the glass and seal the bulk head to get the tank running I need advice

what size bulkhead? Can you get a razor blade in the tank from the bottom? Silicone should not be used, I would try to get it off ....

I have to get it off I have no choice water leaks from the bulk head it's a 1 inch I'm thinking tape a razor to a stick it something

LFS usually sell extended razor blade handle to clean glass , auto parts stores also sell a holder to remove gaskets and window stickers
