Refugium

Reefers was wondering any one has a refugium in there dt. And if I start fowlr for a while when can I add a refugium, what other things can control nitrates. Good food sauce for fish, corals inverts. Is it true some refugium helps with water chemistry that you can almost go a month with out water changes. Michael palleta aquarist does ecosystem mud refugium what do you guys think of it. Ecosystemaquariums.com I plan on macro alage chetao, is there any other macro alage you can do. I read about alage scrubber not planning on it, and what size sump for a 150 gallon tank.
