I took down my led fixture to bring it to be repaired tomorrow. Something wrong with one of the adjustment buttons.
So I hung up my current outer orbit MH/t5 fixture.
I don't think I am going to go back to the led. MH/t5 just looks too good.
No to mention that in the 20 minutes I had it up and running my acans were twice the size. Maybe I have the wrong led fixture. Who knows. But I do know that this looks better and the corals respond better.

Your LEDs may be sub par, what LEDs you got??? And stick to what gets better results for ya!!

I had T5's and swithced to LED. My corals (LPS) grow much better with LED's but the colors pop much nicer with T5 actinics.

I have acan 600 series 18 b.
I don't think the problem with the fixture is the par. The highest I have had it set is 100% blue and 50% white. Anything higher than that and my sps start to bleach.
I have had it for a year and have tried everything I can think of. Fixture height, length of light cycle.
I have had it 2" from water surface all the way to 14".
So I think I am at my wits end with led for now. I'm going back to what I had success with.
On a different note. The outer orbit one bank of t5 is flashing on and off so for now I to moved the bulbs from that bank. I am thinking its the ballast.
Has anyone replaced one and is it difficult?
