Anyone using one? I hear they are not very accurate at low range. Never used one so I don't know. My ranges would be from .01-.07 so I need accurate low range testing. Should I bother with this purchase or get the old style colorimeter?

Where do i get a colorimeter? No one seems to carry it anymore.

i get the same reading with the green hanna checker as i did with the old blue HI93713.
side by side testing got me the same results or close to. For example the new one would read 0.03 and the old one would read 0.04 if there was a difference. most of the time they read the same. If you are looking for the old one PM me

Thanks for the replies so far. Can anyone else comment on the checkers low range accuracy? Ecveron if I decide to purchase the old one I will contact you.
Awilida, thanks for the offer but I need a comparison to know if the checker is accurate at low range.

They're all +/0 0.04 accuracy. :(

I started with a Hanna HI 713 Colorimeter, it worked but didn't like the results bouncing around. I since got a Milwaukee Mi412 and the results are more stable.

In hindsight, with the HI713 bouncing around, it gave me a direction the range was going. With the Milwaukee, if it reported a stable .05 in 3 tests, it can be in actuality .01-.05 or .05-.09 (both being the extremes).
