It's a holder, so that when you do water changes you can free up your hands. You might do water changes in a different way so this might not be good for you.

I actually had parts left over I made this. Hooks on to the tank never comes off.

great idea, i'll have to buy one. been using a spring clamp.

That's an awesome Idea. It seems you can make some sort of an overflow for the tank to a sump as well. But, it will easily loose the siphon if it ever fails since there's no box. I usually just have my hose stuck in the tank it doesn't take that long to drain the amount of water I change anyway. But, this will def free up hands and give you time to do other things in the mean time. Great idea - great price too
