What type of Calcium Reactor Media do you use??

Like the question states. I was wondering what type of Calcium Reactor Media you guys and gals use out there. I just picked up a used Korallin C3002 Reactor. Please chim in. Thanks!! :splitspin

It must be obsolete. Sorry your picked up an outdated peice of equipment. I would be happy to ease your pain and take it from you. Of course I will have to charge you a small fee for storage and disposal.

Palm, I use ARM media for mine - dual chamber andd fill them about 3/4 to 4/5ths with media (aprox 2 and 3/4 canisters of ARM).

If I am not mistaken, Moralin recommends what media to use with their reactors, I could be wrong, though.

I like ARM so far, but haven't used anything else - it has lasted a year and then crapped out - just changed it recently to new media, but on the downslide of the effectiveness of the media, I lost almost 3 monti caps (rare ones) - not sure if that was a user defined problem or a media problem. Either way, I am happy with it.

Nice try Matt! I was leaning towards ARM. What is Rowalith C? I've never heard of it.

It was worth a try...I need to dig up that really negative review regarding deltec skimmers... such a waste of money......I will be buying them for the scrap acrylic this week only at $1 a pound.
