I finally get back with your evil fish. He is not dead yet but I am about to-3.5 hours + 1.5 hours total trip time.
Can you post pics of your rock that does not have coraline algae to show others and see if any experienced eyes concur with my observation?
Don't kill me for this, I think you need something for the very bare bottom-should it be sand, coraline or :tongue1: corals:tongue1: after seeing it first hand. Of course, by the time the tank regrow, things should look good again.
