My EB8 light status flashes orange

My EB8 light status flashes orange and the screen on the monitor turned black. I don't think the controller is working properly because my ato is not kicking in. We had a storm here in NY and I don't know if that did damage my controller. I need help. Thanks.

Blinking orange means the Apex base unit is in bootloader mode. Do you have any other modules besides the display on your Apex? If you have others, I would unplug everything and just plug the EB8 into a power outlet and then connect the display, and see if that'll fix it.

Or you can attempt a firmware upgrade and hope that'll kick it out of bootloader mode.
