Ph dropping quick

So my tank 1 ( ph 8.29) & tank 2 ( ph 8.53 ) ph is always hovering around these #'s. Last night I had turned my over on to warm up the house alittle being how they was late sending heat up. I notice that my ph on both tanks were dropping. So my question is, is that normal? Did anybody else ever notice this?

Elevated CO2 levels in the room. I'd be more concerned about your health than the tanks health if that is what happens when you turn on your oven!

I grew up on turning the over on to warm up the house. I guess that's why I'm crazy now, lol. Note to self, no more using oven to warm up the house.
