What about for a 75? Looking to replace my heater it's a little over a year old.
Usually heaters don't crap out in a year.I have a 150w ebo jager going on 10 years that works perfect. If you want redundancy go with 2 smaller heaters. The risk is not really with a heater failing since corals can tolerate lower temps, the risk is when they stick in the on position and boil your tank, or when glass heater become exposed they can crack.
You can use something like a reef keeper lite for $100 or maybe in an older ranco controller. You can find these things used for $50 or $75. I actually like the reefkeeper lite. I know the expenses of the hobby can be a burden. Good luck either way![]()
as a good buddy of mine has stated leave metal out of your tank go with the eheim![]()
