ocean water

hi
i know that some guys are collecting ocean water from places like sheepshead bay where water quality shouldn't be very good
anybody can give me any suggestion if this idea is good or not

very bad idea !!! lots of pollution in the water. collecting natural sea water is not a feasible way of getting water. Get yourself a decent RODI system and use a quality salt mix. Water is the foundation of the tank. Do you want your tank to look like sheepshead bay?
