Hello MR, I just purchased the auto feeder and realized that my firmware is out of date. Could anyone help me out on updating this since it is very out of date. I think the one I have is 1.3

I am not the best at doing these things so if anyone has the time/patience could you please help me out.

Thank you very much in advance,
Danny.

Create new folder in your computer (anywhere can be desktop or documents) name it Apex.
I guess you can log in to your apex using your computer (if not I'll tell you everything step by step).
First go to configuration > load/save then press select all and on the bottom save configuration.
Name it "apex January 2014"...
Now go on Neptune systems website and download latest firmware and save it to the Apex folder.
Unzip in the same folder then you gonna find file named apex flash utility press it...
Now you gonna see few things,
File name: you don't have to do anything here cause if you'll unzip everything to the same folder flash utility automatically gonna find .hex file
Network address: make sure you will print here your apex IP address, if you don't know it press small icon (with magnifier) if this method gonna fail use apex display to check your apex ip.
HTTP port: usually 80 but not always so check your pressing configuration > network setup
Now username: admin from factory if you have different print it here
Pass: 1234 from factory if you have your own print it here...

Now you are ready to press update firmware button.... It may take up to 1 minute
If everything gonna go smooth and you have firmware updated pres button update web pages this can take even longer than firmware ;)

That's all
Lmk if you have any questions...

One more thing, after update reset your browser history because you not gonna be able to see changes.

You're welcome, happy to help;)

I/O breakout box ... Easy :)
But I need little bit more informations, how you want to use it?
Do you have solenoid valve on 1/4" ro tubing directly from the ro unit/storage tank under pressure? Or you have container with ro water and you want to use small pump as a water feeder?

Solenoid valve 1/4 directly to ro....here is how I set it up:
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If SW1 Closed then on
If sw1 Open then off
If Sw2 open then off
Defer 000:10 then on

Sw2 is a high safety.

What do you think?

Well I didn't try secondary protection on the same program...
I don't even know it this gonna work but I'll check, nice idea.
If you programmed Set OFF
You don't have to print command "If sw1 Open then off"

Here is my:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sw5 CLOSED Then ON
If FeedA 030 Then OFF
If FeedB 060 Then OFF
Min Time 005:00 Then OFF

I use Feed for water changes, smaller or bigger...

One more question:
Does the Defer command also apply to SW2?
Since it's a high water safety .

If it does how could I change it so it only Defer to Sw1?
