Fish trap

Any body have one in bronx to borrow. I have 5 inch hippo that been trying to catch . Can leave deposit and return...he has gotten to big for tank.

Ok update on catching this smart hippo without wrecking my tank.

So this will be next attempt at catching hippo he has seen his buddies traded so knows what's going on.....


going to bait it and hopefully he gets hungry.....its a food container with holes i made and a flapper opening to hopefully catch this guy.

Bump to top...also my buddy got me some new baby fish. will post as soon as in holding tank...

a 2 lit soda bottle works well.
cut the top so fish an fit in. then cut top again where it starts to taper, then invert it like a funnel and secure it. tie a string so you can pull it up.

This hippo has seen me change my fish from large ones to small so he isn't going for it..as soon as you go next to tank hides in rocks. I have to much corals all over nit going to wreck my tank..patience.

For now it's a challenge...fun..but i got guy who trading clown for him so I'm motivated now lol...

I caught every fish today with new trap and nori clip..hippo didn't go near it. Didn't even need trap door fish couldn't figure how to get out while fully open... hopefully Wednesday is the day....
