Clam Death....

Well duno what to say except my newly added clam (blue crocea i think it was) small sized perished today, i realized last nite that with good opening lately but not being settled for the week ive had it was stressing it out, i also saw my cleaner shrimp and lamark angel harrassing it all nite (prob was doing this all week just never noticed)....Today i got home and it was closed fully with only small ruffles sticking out and no movement, when i approached it, it didnt move either...i checked it out and nothing out of the ordinary except for the bottom foot looked like jelly, couldnt of been good...guess my tank wasnt ready for a clam yet..:irked:

Or your angel picked it to death - they have a habit of doing that.

Also, the cleaner is only there after death to pick or very very close to it.

Thanks guys for the simpathy...got some new zoos though in its place, compliments of rstimeout (one of which is my new favs "radioactive green dragon eyes")...nothing like easing the pain with a new purchase I guess :lol: :shhh:
