I'd just like to introduce myself. I'm new to this board but have been a beginner reefer for a while. I have a 29 gam biocube with the hqi lighting.
I've let the tank get run down for maybe 6-9 months. No water change, some ro/di water thrown in whenever the pump was making too much noise. I just cleaned it up a bit today and did a small water change. Can you believe the true perc and mushrooms are still alive in there?
Are any of you guys in the northern suburbs? I'm in Mahopac now since moving up from the city and I need a lfs. I know House of Fins over in CT and a small place down in Mt Kisco was around a few years ago. Any other local places I should check out?
