A 'refugium' would be a very nice place for seahorses. The problem is, once you add the seahorses to the refugium it is no longer technically a refugium.

Making your own refugium is as easy as taking a tank and plumbing it into your system. You'll need a light for it, a LR rubble pile is very helpful, sandbed and macro algae. Having it above your display is great so that pods can just flow into your display without having to make the trip through a pump (getting chopped up).

Thanks Swimmer I will try to make my own refugium out of the tank. Can you suggest any web site where I can have an idea how to make it? I was searching earlier, but the one I found are not really helpful, maybe is just because they use a lot of technical words which I am not familiar with, and not enough pictures, and I like pictures :P

Hey Brendan, I didn't know a Home Depot will open up here!! It's great for me since I don't have a car

Was thinking about going the same route for the ref with the CPR hang on. Then you mentioned you need lighting for it, which flew right over my head when i first looked at the fuge.

anyone have any links to mini lights i could hang on to the backpack ? or any recommendations on how to make one (size/watt)?
